Support students in a K-12 school setting with direct, personalized care as a Paraprofessional and Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) working one-on-one with children requiring specialized assistance. This full-time contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment, providing essential support in self-contained life skills classrooms.

Location: Onsite in Choteau, MT
Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
Openings: 3 positions available to support life skills classrooms in 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and assistance to students with unique learning and physical needs in a 1:1 setting
  • Support daily classroom routines and activities to promote student participation and independence
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement specialized educational and health care plans
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including mobility, hygiene, and feeding as needed
  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being to the educational team

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required
  • Certification as a Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
  • Experience working with children in educational or healthcare settings is a plus
  • Ability to maintain patience, compassion, and professionalism while supporting students with diverse needs
