Position Summary:
To provide excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers by identifying and resolving issues and any customer concern in a timely manner to ensure that Satellite Shelters receives payment for our product and services

Essential Functions:
  • Prepare rental invoices for delivery via US Mail or email according to the account holder’s request.
  • Complete lien waivers on a requested basis.
  • Provide invoicing support for assigned branches
  • Review and post non-recurring & new orders
  • Research customer disputes regarding invoice amounts
  • Enter customer invoices into their web portals
  • Work with branches regarding customer PO’s
  • Contact necessary people to have PO’s amended
  • Process credit card payments on a recurring and one-time basis as requested by the account holder.
  • Investigate payment shortages received.
  • Contact past due accounts to find payment resolution.
  • Request credits when necessary
  • Request refunds
  • Assist accounting personnel with resolving taxing errors
  • Investigate returned mail to determine the correct address to send invoices.
  • Field correspondence from account holders and assist with resolution of concern
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory role.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years’ experience in accounts receivable and/or finance.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Experience with Credit and Collections
  • Ethical Conduct
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team.

Physical/Mental Demands:
This position is largely a sedentary role, requiring us of typical office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and scanners.
