Position: Administrator
Location: Villa Maria – Wichita, KS

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to lead our team at Villa Maria in Mulvane. with partnership from Catholic Care. This role is essential in ensuring our community operates efficiently while upholding our mission of compassionate, person-centered care. The Administrator will oversee operations, foster a supportive work environment, and enhance the quality of life for residents through strong leadership and strategic management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations to ensure exceptional resident care.
  • Implement and uphold policies that reflect our values of Compassionate Care and Excellence.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance to promote a positive, engaged workplace.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and maintain comprehensive care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all state regulations and quality standards.
  • Foster open communication between residents, families, and staff to strengthen community relationships.
  • Monitor financial performance, assist in budget development, and control expenses.
  • Lead and support staff development through training and mentoring programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (required).
  • Current state Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license (preferred or required based on regulations).
  • Proven leadership experience in long-term care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting (required).
  • Strong knowledge of state regulations governing senior living facilities (required).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills (required).
  • Experience with budgeting, financial management, and electronic health record systems (preferred).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff (required).
