As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. You will be responsible for monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the premises, and enforcing security procedures. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor surveillance systems, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems

  • Conduct regular patrol rounds of the premises to deter and detect suspicious activity

  • Maintain a visible presence to ensure a safe and secure environment

  • Respond promptly to security breaches, alarms, and emergencies

  • Investigate incidents and document findings

  • Enforce company security policies and procedures

  • Create incident reports and submit them to the appropriate personnel

  • Provide excellent customer service while enforcing security measures

  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in security or law enforcement is a plus

  • Proven experience as a security guard or similar role preferred

  • Strong observation and surveillance skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations

  • Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures

  • Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV surveillance systems is a plus

  • Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods of time

  • A valid driver's license is a plus
