Position Summary

The Associate Analyst Technology Finance is a key support role within the Technology Finance & Portfolio Management Team, assisting with both financial and project management functions. This role plays a critical part in the financial reporting and tracking process by providing accurate data consolidation, validation, and insights to ensure effective management of the Technology portfolio's capital expenditures (CapEx) and operational budgets.

The Associate Analyst contributes to the creation and maintenance of financial reporting templates, dashboards, and automated processes that enhance visibility into project and portfolio performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, and Technology leadership, the Associate Analyst ensures transparency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational financial goals.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the end-to-end monthly capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting process. Support data consolidation and validation efforts to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Portfolio Reporting & Dashboards: Collaborate with the team to develop portfolio-based reporting and build a comprehensive Portfolio Management Dashboard in Power BI or similar tools. Assist in identifying and implementing key metrics to track project and portfolio performance effectively.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Research and recommend solutions to automate and integrate financial and portfolio reporting processes. Contribute to streamlining workflows, reducing manual efforts, and improving data accuracy.
  • Tool & Process Implementation: Assist with the rollout of new tools, processes, and features to project teams and end users. Provide user support and training on new systems or functionalities.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Work on special projects and aid with ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Partner with the team to address evolving business needs and priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • One (1) year of experience working in finance, data analytic, or related fields
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, namely Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Project
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (less than 10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of experience working in finance, data analytic, or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Literacy in data visualization tools, namely PowerBI & Tableau
  • Experience coding in Python and/or PowerShell
  • Experience analyzing operational or financial data
  • Experience preparing effective presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to see the long-term vision
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management tools

  • Able to maintain a professional appearance

Compensation:

  • The base pay range for this position is between $52,000.00 and $69,300.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
