The Baker holds a vital role in making yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty sweets, and other baked goods fresh and delicious. Attention to detail in maintaining freshness, efficiency, hygiene, and orderliness is always a top priority for the Baker in their daily tasks.

Food Production:

  • Creates artisan yeast rolls, cakes, pies, specialty treats, and various baked goods by hand.
  • Creates breakfast pastries during weekends to fulfill production requirements.
  • Adhering to the buffet production system in its entirety is essential for ensuring that quality standards and shelf life requirements are met.

Operational Excellence:

  • Guarantees that all bakery items are consistently fresh, delicious, aesthetically pleasing, and served warm when necessary.
  • Ensures quality control by adhering to Golden Corral recipes and guidelines when preparing all menu items.
  • Ensures accurate portioning and recipe outputs are maintained.
  • Adhere to the Bakery and Dessert Café Production Guide for best practices.

Guest Service:

  • Shows kindness and politeness towards visitors while helping them with pastries.
  • Understands and adheres to role duties concerning just-in-time delivery.

Cleanliness:

  • Carries out scheduling tasks and upholds standards of cleanliness, service, and quality.
  • Adheres to regulations set by the regional health authority.
