Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will be professional, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in a warm and courteous manner
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls appropriately
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
  • Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays or balances
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and data entry
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
  • Communicate effectively with clinicians and office staff

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a medical or behavioral health office preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits:

  • 32-36hrs/week (Every other Friday off)
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holidays
  • Health Insurance Stipend

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26,000.00 - $28,000.00 per year
