Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech (CST) to join our team in assisting surgeons during surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgery
  • Sterilize and set up surgical instruments
  • Assist surgeons during procedures
  • Scrub in and maintain a sterile field during surgery
  • Monitor the patient's vital signs during surgery
  • Assist with wound closure and dressing application
  • Maintain accurate surgical records
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures
  • Current CPR certification
