Shift hours are 6:30am-5:30pm

Lacey Memory Care is looking for a part time/full time cook to add to our team! The daily tasks will include cooking three meals from the menu provided by the Food Services Director and cleaning the kitchen before the end of shift. The ideal candidate for this position is self sufficient, communicates well, and has the ability to work independently. 2 cooks are on duty throughout shift but are in separate kitchens. Cooks are responsible for 3 meals per day for approximately 30 residents.

Meals typically reflect American home-style cooking.

Breakfast is served at 8:00am. This is mostly classic breakfasts such as oatmeal, eggs and toast, biscuits and gravy, fruit and cereal.

Lunch is served at 12:00pm. These meals range from different hearty salad variations to pastas and roasts and is served with dessert.

Dinner is served at 5:00pm. These meals are typically lighter meals such as sandwiches, sloppy joes, hamburgers/hot dogs, and pasta dishes and is served with dessert.

Working Conditions:

Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends,overtime and holidays.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.

Withstand heat from cooking area and cold from below zero freezers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
