The 2024 list marks TCS’ eighth consecutive year of recognition and sixth time as the Information Technology Sector Leader.<br><br>JOB DESCRIPTION<br><br>TCS, one of the world’s top four IT services and consulting firms, is hiring a Community Engagement Lead for its Corporate Social Responsibility function in North America.<br><br>TCS engagement model draws upon its thought leadership, technology capabilities, skill-based volunteering of employees, and philanthropic investments to enable its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programs, partnerships, and initiatives. This individual will lead the day-to-day operations of demonstrating volunteer program effectiveness and impact, both externally and internally, and equipping TCS leaders and key stakeholders with information/messaging to further amplify the scale of such initiatives.<br><br>The CSR Lead, Employee Volunteerism and Community Engagement will support the planning and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in the USA and Canada. This position will primarily focus on supporting the employee volunteer program, community outreach and philanthropic initiatives of TCS in the United States.<br><br>This position will involve up to 20% travel within the United States.<br><br>Employee Volunteer Program:<br>• Organize and coordinate volunteer events, logistics and event details<br>• Recruit, steward and manage CSR Champions Network nationally<br>• Conduct in-person road shows and webinars with employees across the country<br>• Connect CSR Champions Network and employees to CSR opportunities with our national nonprofit partners through initiatives in focus areas of health, education, and environment<br>• Support associates through TCS’s internal CSR/civic leadership training program by managing virtual modules and small group cohorts<br>• Upload volunteer events, manage all requests and questions related to volunteering, maintain metrics reports related to volunteer impact<br>• Collaborate closely with CSR program teams to recruit volunteers for STEM education activities<br>• Regularly innovate opportunities to reach employees across the U.S. to raise a wareness, inspire engagement with TCS’s volunteer programs or in their own communities throughout the year<br>• Help administer employee recognition programs<br>• Help administer TCS’ volunteer tracking tool “myPurpose”<br>• Coordinate payments to our nonprofit partners, vendors, and suppliers<br><br>Communications:<br>• Create CSR content on volunteer events for both internal and external stakeholders<br>• Integrate marketing and communication efforts within all stakeholders while reinforcing brand standards<br>• Develop content, tools, assets, and collateral to support outreach and employee engagement (e.g., presentations, one-pagers, reports, infographics)<br>• Compile quarterly CSR newsletters<br>• Draft event recaps to highlight volunteer events and social media reach<br>• Support the applications and submissions for CSR awards<br>• Create CSR content on volunteer events for both internal and external stakeholders<br>• Integrate marketing and communication efforts within all engagement efforts while upholding brand standards.<br><br>Community Engagement:<br>• Outreach to nonprofit partners to develop and manage mutually beneficial business-community partnerships<br>• Coordinate the appropriate project logistics including pre-project development, planning, project supplies, etc. and provide onsite leadership at select volunteer events<br>• Coordinate volunteer recruitment and registration, with support from the CSR Champions Network<br>• Outreach to nonprofit agency partners to develop mutually beneficial business-community partnerships<br>• Support corporate philanthropy efforts by working with internal stakeholders and nonprofits to execute the donations process<br>• Support the company’s philanthropic strategy by tracking and reviewing contributions requests<br>• Represent TCS in external forums, events, and conferences<br>• Lead special projects relating to CSR, Diversity & Employee Engagement.<br><br>Qualifications:<br>• Understanding of CSR and Human Resources principles and practices<br>• Self-directed individual with initiative, creativity, analytical and organizational management skills<br>• Superb communications including writing, editing and presentation skills<br>• Ability to lead and manage volunteers and volunteer groups<br>• Ability to collaborate with other departments, agencies, and peers to reach common goals<br>• Strong planning and organizational skills with close attention to detail<br>• Working knowledge of popular social networks<br>• Strong volunteer management and communication experience<br>• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced and changing work environment.<br><br>Desired Skills and Experience<br>• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5-7 years related work experience in volunteer management, communications, cross-functional and cross-disciplinary project management and business experience or equivalent combination of education and experience<br>• Experience with nonprofits and volunteer programs<br>• Experience actively
