We are a Distributor seeking goal driven customer service professionals to support our selling efforts nationwide to thousands of clients. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting customers and the sales organization in driving profitable growth. They are the primary point of contact for our sales team in assisting them with meeting their objectives, removing their obstacles, and maintaining their supply of packaging consumables to our customer base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Sales Team
Entering and Maintaining Sales Orders / Purchase Orders
Obtaining quotes from vendors
Issuing quotes to customers at the direction of Sales Reps
Obtaining freight estimates
Shipping validations/tracking / resolution
Invoice validation / resolution
Requesting and processing product samples
Coordinating appointments at the direction of sales/management
Execute follow-up calls on quotes at the direction of sales/management
Keeping up with the industry with market intelligence and product knowledge
Effectively communicate and represent United One Source
Contact inactive accounts, C&D level accounts and customer leads to generate new business/customers
Responsible for handling overflow / incoming calls
Back-Up to Manager of First Impressions

Qualifications

  • Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective relationship building, communication (both verbal and written), and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of basic math calculations including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and percentage
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a cross-functional business team
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful service experience in distribution or wholesale, preferably in the packaging industry, an exceptionally strong work ethic, and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
