We are hosting an entertainment casting day on board Queen Victoria on the 20th of January in Port Canaveral, Orlando

We will be recruiting for the following roles:

Entertainment

  • Host Be part of our world class entertainment team hosting events, quizzes, sports and activities onboard
  • Coordinate get togethers and attend social events throughout each sailing, confidently interacting with our guests as the face of Cunard
  • Run and participate in dance and movement classes
  • Act as master of ceremonies, introducing musicians and performers in venues throughout the ship
  • As a ship officer, responsible for guest safety and participating in Emergency duti

Entertainment Dance

  • HostTeach beginner and intermediate ballroom dance classes
  • Each evening, to dance with guests for up to 2hrs, both Ballroom and Latin styles
  • Daily Entertainment Host duties as directed by line manager
  • Ambassadors and coordinators for the solo travelling guest events

Entertainment Host

  • DJ Resident DJ onboard in various venues around theship
  • Host entertainment activities such as Trivia, deck games, bingo, ka raoke

About you:

Due to the diverse range of positions, we are recruiting for we would love to receive an application from you if you can demonstrate selected experience from the belowlist:

  • Hosting experience or a performing role in a live theatre or entertainment environment
  • Experience in dancing and teaching Ballroom and
  • Latin Current or recent resident or wedding DJ experience, either working onboard a cruise ship or within a 5-star hotel. You will also know how to read the crowd and have knowledge of music from the sixties right up to present day
  • Current or recent experience as Youth Staff or a Travel Host
  • Current or recent experience working in an Entertainment Host position at a holiday park, amusement park or hotel
