Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as experience in driving and handling delivery vehicles, including box trucks. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring all items are secured for transport.
  • Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
  • Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
  • Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving of goods (up to 50 pounds).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required.
