💫 NorthStar Logistics has partnered with Amazon as a Delivery Service Partner to provide delivery services to our customers. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team. Team Members will be utilizing Amazon Branded cargo vans containing the latest technology and safety features to deliver packages to homes, retail locations, and other delivery locations. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our commitment to exceed customer expectations and make sure customer orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered on time and to the right place.

We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the Company

• Military veterans are welcome!

• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory

• As we grow, supervisory roles will be available

Benefits & Scheduling for a Delivery Driver: 

• 💰 $23.75 per hour and an Overtime rate of $35.625 per hr (Paid Weekly) 💰

• 10hr work days shifts (4) days a week are typical, but are not guaranteed and can be adjusted depending on personal performance and company route volume. (Part-Time/Seasonal work available) 

• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 mandatory unpaid 30-minute meal break 

• Opportunity for performance incentives and bonuses

• Paid time off (PTO) begins accruing immediately at start of employment at a rate of 1.6hrs per 40hrs worked 

• Tuition Reimbursement, up to $5,000 annually

 

📦 Key Duties & Responsibilities for a Delivery Driver:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages as per Amazon's rules and regulations 

• Safely drive and perform daily safety inspections on company vehicles

• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions

Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages (up to 50lbs.); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations, delivering 200-300 packages a day.

• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed

• Use smartphone devices for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members

• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle

• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes 

• If needed, carry out delivery station activities including sorting and general tasks

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old. 

  • Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. 

  • Driver’s License: Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license within the state of employment (a Commercial Driver’s License is not required). 

  • Driving Record: Must maintain a clean motor vehicle report; multiple violations can disqualify you from the position. 

  • Drug Screening: Must pass a 5-panel drug screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)

$23.75 per hr and an Overtime rate of $35.625 per hr, with no experience.

We need hard workers who are independent, flexible and who pay attention to details and can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations.

Additional Information

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE.  It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license.
