Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with dental office procedures.

Duties

  • Greet patients as they arrive and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
  • Manage patient records, including documentation review and filing of medical records.
  • Assist in the preparation of care plans and provide necessary information to patients regarding their treatment options.
  • Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for managing patient information and scheduling.
  • Handle phone inquiries, addressing patient questions or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and administrative workspace.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and support during procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using dental software systems like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of medical administrative support processes, including documentation review and file management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
