We are currently searching for **a Dining Room Server** to join our team. This is a casual shift position at our Leduc location. Our Leduc facility is only a short commute from the following South Edmonton neighbourhoods

Allard (20km) - 18 minutes

Chappelle (22km) - 19 minutes

Summerside & Ellerslie (23km) - 20 minutes

Twin Brooks (24km) - 21 minutes

**Position Summary**:
The Server will be responsible for providing high levels of customer service to all dining residents and guests by providing prompt and courteous customer service and maintaining a strong working knowledge of all daily menu items and specials. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, assisting with cleaning duties, and comply with all dining and kitchen policies and procedures.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the total meal service and the dining experience of residents.
- Greet residents with a smile and if possible, call them by name.
- Demonstrate respect to the residents and cater to their needs and requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
- Preparing the dining room and service kitchen area daily for opening service.
- Suggesting the correct daily menu items with a clear tone of voice.
- Serving food and beverages.
- Check tables, chairs and place settings for cleanliness.
- Clear all dirty dishes.
- Clean equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
- Keep floor, in both the dining room and service area, clean and free of debris.
- Ensuring condiments, napkins, placemats are well stocked and replace supplies accordingly.
- Follow OHS Regulations/ Report related concerns/ Assist with Hazard Assessments.
- Provide residents with a comfortable, relaxed dining experience (ensuring they don’t feel rushed).
- Engage in friendly, polite conversation with residents.
- Performing other duties, as assigned by your supervisor and senior staff.
