Job Summary:

At Silencer Central, we believe in being customer-oriented, getting stuff done, and expecting excellence in everything we do. The Director of Marketing oversees our company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. The responsibilities for this role include developing and executing marketing plans to achieve corporate strategies; approving, launching, and managing campaigns; and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.

Classification: Full time; Exempt
Shift: Monday – Friday
Location: On-site

Job Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget to find the profit margin and which campaigns are most effective
  • Work with both the sales and events departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and retain existing clients
  • Collaborate with leaders to make high-level decisions regarding the direction of the company
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product and service
  • Develop marketing strategies for new products, services, and partnerships
  • Oversight of Marketing budget reconciliation and management
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services in the market
  • Identify and retain third party contractors to implement marketing strategies
  • Identify, hire and manage members of the Marketing Team.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 7 + years of Marketing experience required
  • Proven marketing campaign experience. Direct to Consumer experience preferred. Brand Marketing Experience preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals and targets
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and corporate goals
  • Critical thinking ability - using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of self, team members and the operation to make improvements or take corrective action

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $130k-$160k DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
