About the Role

The candidate, reporting to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor, will be involved in high complexity projects.

He/She will be in charge of:

  • Ensures the design and implementation of electrical systems in order to widen the offer and cover new market requirements respecting the constraints of cost, time, quality levels, technical standards and defined KPIs.
  • Support machines and control units customization process according to customer requirements, technological developments and time constraints set by the planning process.
  • Manages and coordinates complex projects related to systems and machinery, supervising the electrical design activities, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, timelines, and technical objectives.
  • Provides proper technical support inside and outside Engineering Department sharing and capitalizing internal know-how on developed technologies; monitors the technological evolution and innovation on the automation system market and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Assures the correct configuration of electrical systems taking care of minimizing inventory obsolescence.

The position will be based in Offanengo (CR), Italy.

What you need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Electric, Electronic, Automation or similar fields.
  • Good knowledge on electric circuits/components IEC symbols and representation.
  • Electrical Circuit/Panel Design (basic knowledge for electrical CAD EPLAN is preferred).
  • Basic Knowledge on major electrical Standards/Directives related to electrical assembly (i.e. EN60204-1, EN60439-1).
  • Basic knowledge on major Standards/Directives related to safety requirements (i.e. EN13849-1, EN62061).
  • Competence on electric calculations for dimensioning and consequent equipment selection (cables, wires, overload/short-circuit protections).
  • Basic knowledge for electric calculations/verifications of overall fault-impedance ring and short circuit breaking capability.
  • Basic knowledge on pneumatics circuits functionality and dimensioning (is preferred)
  • Real passion for technological aspects
  • Use of main IT supports (PLM, ERP, Office365)
