EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT – MAJOR EVENTS INTEGRATION TEAM<br><br>Role Location: Primary location will be Orlando, FL, but receptive to candidates in the Anaheim, CA area.<br><br><strong>About The Role & Team<br><br></strong>The Major Events Integration team (MEI) is responsible for developing, activating and amplifying comprehensive, cross-company plans to maximize the value of large-scale sports, entertainment, tourism and milestone events ranging from America's 250th anniversary to Super Bowl LXI, and many more. Focused on leveraging the full power of our company and its iconic brands and franchises to create exclusive “only Disney can” experiences for our consumers and fans, the MEI team serves as the integrator between our businesses, partners, and stakeholders - fostering deep collaboration, alchemy, and collaborative decision-making that ultimately drives far-reaching benefits for The Walt Disney Company.<br><br>As an Executive Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the MEI team. You will manage busy calendars, as well as assist in preparing executive reviews and meetings with top executives across the company and community. This is a Full-Time role.<br><br>What You Will Do<br><br>This position will support 2 executives and their direct reports within the newly established Walt Disney Company Major Events Integration team. Every day in this role is different!<br><br>On any given day you might:<br><br><br><ul><li> Interface directly with other senior executives and executive support professionals across TWDC and the community – your ability to work well with people on all levels is critical.</li><li> Thoughtfully manage complex calendars to align critical interfaces with internal and external stakeholders and across multiple times zones (ensuring consideration of regional working hours) while maximizing the Executive’s time through strategic and proactive calendar management and support.</li><li> Prepare professional materials, including presentation decks and various reports.</li><li> Schedule and attend in person and/or virtual meetings to provide administrative and basic technical support, including taking notes and following up on action items.</li><li> Leverage technology tools to support communication efficiency.</li><li> Work closely with the Executives on activities, projects, meetings, event planning and office logistics.</li><li> Book domestic and global travel, build travel itineraries, and manage travel & entertainment expenses for your executives and their teams.</li><li> Manage building access, conference room, and drop-in office needs as your executives meet with partners across various Disney locations/buildings.</li><li> Order supplies and equipment along with other office management duties.</li><li> Coordinate onboarding/offboarding of team members.</li><li> Exercise good judgement and discretion while maintaining confidentiality of information and documents.</li><li> Proactively resolve problems and pitch in to help.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications & Skills<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> 3 years minimum experience providing administrative support to TWDC executive leadership (or comparable experience)</li><li> Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and especially PowerPoint, with an emphasis on creating executive-ready business decks that demonstrate visual clarity, clean layout, and concise summarization</li><li> Professional and highly discreet while maintaining absolute confidentiality</li><li> Effective communication skills, including diplomatic and professional handling of telephone and email communications</li><li> Ability to deal with constantly shifting priorities, deadlines and directives</li><li> Proactive, resourceful, flexible, and responsible</li><li> Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li> Flexibility to work overtime in urgent situations (as needed)<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br><br></strong><ul><li> External experience with marketing, advertising, and/or government agencies</li><li> Experience with SAP, Keynote, Concur, and Coupa<br><br><br></li></ul>Education<br><br>A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
