<strong>Description<br><br></strong>Amazon Ads is seeking a self-driven, highly organized, customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to support the VP of Amazon Ads Marketing. This high impact, high visibility role requires outstanding planning and communication skills. In addition to being an important partner to the Marketing leadership team, this role is an essential info resource and POC for high profile industry events and C-level customer engagement.<br><br>The right candidate will have a strong bias for action and the ability to operate proactively and strategically, anticipating needs based on a thorough understanding of leader and team priorities. Looking around corners, impeccable attention to detail, strong judgement, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams are all critical to success. A high level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information and professionalism dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company is imperative.<br><br>This role leads a small team of EAs and partners closely with EAs across the broader Ads org. The ability to foster a positive team environment is a must, as is flexibility and a willingness to turn on a dime and take effective action as priorities shift.<br><br>This role is based in NYC and requires five (5) days a week in office. Candidates should expect to travel 2-4 times per year in this role.<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br><ul><li> Complex calendar management and coordination for high-level internal and external meetings</li><li> Seamlessly manage detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, as well as expense reporting</li><li> Manage team space planning and onsite morale/team building activities</li><li> Partner closely with the leadership team, key business partners, and Marketing team EAs to provide holistic support to the organization, including annual planning, oversight of EA allocation, hiring, and onboarding</li><li> Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items</li><li> Coordinate and communicate effectively with a variety of groups including peers, internal stakeholders, clients, advertising industry professionals<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> 5+ years of executive assistant experience</li><li> Experience with executive level calendar management</li><li> Experience with domestic or international travel coordination</li><li> Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li></li><li> Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, professional correspondence and effectively communicate with senior executives</li><li></li><li> Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented philosophy</li><li></li><li> Highly motivated, organized individual who works effectively with minimal supervision</li><li></li><li> Can quickly learn organizational structure, team objectives, and business leader’s priorities</li><li></li><li> Ability to influence without direct authority</li><li></li><li> Proven ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups including internal and external peers, partners, and senior leadership</li><li></li><li> Experience coordinating C-level internal and external executive engagements</li><li></li><li> Experience hiring and developing EAs</li><li></li><li> Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and executing with agility<br><br></li></ul>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market.
