Schedule

  • 24 hour shifts - (weekdays and weekends) $300
  • 12 hour shifts - (weekdays and weekends) Hourly

Wages & Benefits:

  • Rate of Pay: $300 per day (24 hour period)
  • Rate of Pay : Hourly starts at $17 (12 hour or less shift)

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you will be responsible for....

  • Companionship
  • Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Medication reminders
  • Personal cares (ADL's)
  • Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
  • Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
  • Transportation
  • Some clients may need extra care with Hoyer Lifts, Gait Belts, Alzheimer's care, stroke, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
  • Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
  • Pass a background check
  • 18+ years of age
  • Pass Drug Test
