  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in home and community settings, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
  • Foster effective communication and build rapport with clients to enhance their quality of life.
  • Implement behavior management strategies and support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents, ensuring compliance with care standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in training sessions to improve caregiving skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in home and community care
  • Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Direct support experience with individuals with disabilities
  • Familiarity with behavioral health and behavior management techniques
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided
