<p>LabCorp Lab Systems is a dynamic team that supports a variety of the laboratories.  We are in search of a Lab System Specialist to assist with the enhancement, migration, and support of clinical laboratory platforms.</p><p></p><p><b>Duties & Responsibilities</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Preparing documentation for instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, supporting services, programs and/or applications for clinical laboratory testing</li><li>Conducting file <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">definition/configuration,</span> testing, and troubleshooting for instrument interfaces, services, programs and applications for clinical laboratory testing</li><li>Providing on call support for production systems</li><li>Providing remote & on-site training and support prior to, during and post system implementations and conversions</li><li>Consulting with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Solid understanding of Laboratory operations in a reference or hospital laboratory.</li><li>Solid troubleshooting skills for enterprise level production systems, to include instrument interfaces, middleware platforms, and Laboratory and Hospital Information Systems</li><li>Ability to perform file definition and configuration within Laboratory Information Systems, instrument interfaces, and middleware platforms.</li><li>Ability to create user training documentation using Microsoft Office Applications.</li><li>Ability to take initiative to learn existing applications.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)</li><li>Experience in Healthcare applications and systems</li><li>Ability to travel (25%)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements</b><b>:</b></p><ul><li>Experience utilizing Data Innovations Instrument Manager Middleware</li><li>Conducting file definition and configuration for and within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and related applications</li><li>Providing training and implementation support for instrument platforms for and within LIMS and related applications</li><li>Enterprise <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Systems/Services/Protocols:</span> Cache’, Antrim, HL7, ASTM</li><li>Operating Systems: Windows</li><li>Tools: Visio, MS Word, MS Excel</li><li>Desired experience with LCLS, Data innovations, LCWS, and SIS/SRS</li><li>5<span>+ years’ experience in a medical/clinical laboratory environment or experience supporting and deploying laboratory information systems </span><span><span><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">(required)  </span></span></span></li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Information Technology or related field (required)</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b>Application Window closes 8/22/2025</b></p><p></p><p><b>Pay Range: $50,000 - $90,000</b></p><p><br>All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">degrees/certifications,</span> as well as internal equity and market data. </p><p></p><p><b>Benefits:</b> Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.  Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only.
