Hiring 2nd and 3rd shifts, starting wage is between $21.25 - $36.75 per hour.
Wage is based on experience with the potential to make more.
Job Responsibilities 1.
This position is responsible for the advanced repair and the assigned preventative maintenance of miscellaneous equipment in the Retail area, in order to eliminate down time and meet annual performance goals Minimum Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent * Scope out work areas to insure physical safe repair work progression * Demonstrate an advanced level of mechanical aptitude with knowledge and use of various pieces of equipment not limited to hand, power, industrial tools, and precision measuring instruments * Previous work experience in welding is a plus * Meeting all safety and USDA standards * Clean safety record * Skills in Metal Fabrication * Ability to work without supervision * Must have a working knowledge of computer systems: Ability to input and extract data as it relates to the emails and the Computer Maintenance Management: Ability to look up work orders, materials, and historical records relating to plant equipment * Ability to research online, use hard cover manuals and catalogs to correctly identify the needed repairs and fabrication components for equipment modifications and repair solutions * PHYSICAL: No restrictions lifting up to 50 pounds * No restrictions on twisting, bending, squatting, and walking Preferred Qualifications * Ability to troubleshoot and repair of electronic and mechanical control systems * Work experience performing repairs on electrical and mechanical systems * Ability to complete a project from beginning to end without supervision * Associates degree in an applied science related technology or prior experience in manufacturing maintenance * Previous work experience in plumbing * Stainless steel sanitary and aluminum welding experience * Experience in Fabrication Machine Operations such as: Milling Machines, Press Brake Operation, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) and Metal Fabrication Equipment What you will receive: Competitive pay Extraordinary benefits – Including paid vacation and holidays; weekly paychecks, medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage (very affordable compared to area companies AND you become eligible for health care plans after 30 days of employment); life insurance; Employee Stock Purchase Plan; 401k with match; and tuition reimbursement program FREE two-year community/technical college tuition for children of employees (hormelinspiredpathways.com) Relocation Assistance Program for eligible applicants Training – You will be trained on all equipment and procedures to prepare you for the role Advancement opportunities– You are on a direct track to move into higher roles including operator and lead positions, even supervision and management Employment with a solid employer – People stay here for the great employee experience and the long-term opportunities available Need help with the online application process?
