River Commons Senior Living is looking for an experienced Sales & Leasing Director to join our team. This position is full time, benefit eligible. Scheduled hours are from Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.


Job Summary:

Generate leads and close sales utilizing Ray Stone's grass roots approach to achieve sales and marketing goals for designated RSI community. Generate and cultivate referral relationships within designated territory. Provide leadership, communication, and marketing training to other staff members by the instruction of the Director of Marketing. Design and implement lead generation activities, monitor and track leads proficiently and provide lead management training to other staff members when required.


Job Duties:

  • Make outbound calls inviting prospective residents, their families and friends to come experience RSI senior independent living community
  • Cultivate and maintain referral relationships with local and professional networks serving the senior community
  • Develop and implement marketing plan in conjunction with Director of Marketing
  • Actively participate in all lead generating special events and offer seniors the opportunity to tour the community, stay the night, or try a meal to learn more about the benefits of living at a Ray Stone Senior Community
  • Provide prospective residents with a full customized tour, cultivate the relationship by utilizing excellent people and sales skills, and ultimately converting prospects into residents
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, follow-up, and closing skills with both senior prospects and their children in a warm and caring manner
  • Provide budget analysis of marketing expenditures and return on investment results
  • Update competition reports and industry trends in order to maintain a competitive edge
  • Demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability
  • Assist in resident retention efforts
  • Assist the Community Administrator with tasks assigned
  • Meet all assigned work requirements of the job
  • Regular attendance is required
  • Maintain a professional appearance in both dress and grooming
  • Keep all business and operations information confidential
  • Effectively and consistently communicate with Ray Stone associates and clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience with proven success in direct sales preferred
  • Minimum of one year generating sales leads through networking preferred
  • Prior experience in Residential Leasing
  • Experience with Align and Yardi, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Previous experience serving senior citizens and familiarity with related laws and regulations preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand; and use hands to handle/lift objects. The employee occasionally must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds. Additionally, the employee, on occasion, must crouch, kneel, or climb stairs.

Most work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. This position requires substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Must have the ability to walk short distances.
