<strong>Marketing Manager<br><br></strong><em>The ideal candidate will have experience across Architecture, Construction, Proposals.<br><br></em><strong>Location: </strong>San Antonio, TX<br><br><strong>On-Site Schedule:</strong> 4 days on-site, 1 day remote<br><br><strong>Employment:</strong> Freelance, 3 months+ (possible conversion)<br><br><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$45-$50 per hour<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>Our client is a leading construction and compliance firm seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Coordinator to join its team in San Antonio, TX. This role supports strategic marketing and business development efforts, helping to position the company for continued growth and success in the built environment. The role is a 3 month freelance (40 hours p/w) opportunity, 4 days per week on site with 1 day remote. There is a chance this could convert to permanent, but not guaranteed.<br><br>The Senior Marketing Coordinator will lead the development of proposals, qualifications, and presentations that highlight the company's capabilities and align with client needs. This role requires a strategic thinker, a skilled communicator, and a collaborative team player with a strong understanding of the AEC industry.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead, manage, write, and produce proposals, qualifications, award submittals, and presentation materials.</li><li>Interview project team members to craft targeted, persuasive content.</li><li>Support minor business development activities and strategic initiatives.</li><li>Create internal and external deliverables with audience-centric messaging and feature/benefit positioning.</li><li>Mentor junior marketing staff and provide constructive feedback.</li><li>Maintain strong internal relationships and resolve day-to-day marketing challenges.</li><li>Conduct market research to support strategic planning and pursuit efforts.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>4-6 years of marketing experience in the AEC industry or a related field.</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.</li><li>Excellent time management and organizational abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Creative problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.</li><li>Understanding of AEC industry marketing fundamentals.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What a Typical Day Might Look Like<br><br></strong><ul><li>Collaborating with Business Development and Marketing teams on strategic pursuits.</li><li>Coordinating proposal efforts with Creative Services and Technical Writers.</li><li>Gathering project and client information from internal stakeholders.</li><li>Participating in community outreach meetings.</li><li>Updating brochures and marketing collateral using InDesign.</li><li>Designing and formatting proposals and inputting content.</li><li>Interviewing project team members for value-added insights.</li><li>Refreshing resumes and project sheets for proposal use.<br><br></li></ul>In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
