Summary:

Trimark Properties is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager who is passionate about marketing and wishes to act as a working member of the team, in addition to providing management to others.

The MM works to effectively implement the marketing strategy while also managing and leading a marketing team. Equal part leader and “do-er”, the MM will maintain and grow all Trimark owned marketing efforts, media and brands, drawing on previous experience as a successful marketing manager to implement the day-to-day marketing operations.

The successful MM works alongside the other members of the team to develop, design, and implement marketing strategies for successful inbound and outbound campaigns in both B2B and B2C worlds. To be successful, you must be results oriented and have a strong work ethic paired with a desire to make a measurable improvement in Trimark’s lead and sales generation. The chosen applicant will work in both print and digital media (most of Trimark’s efforts focus on digital marketing).

Together, the department is a results-oriented marketing team. The goal of each of their marketing projects is to drive leads, sales, and profit, and the success of each campaign is measured by those results. The marketing campaigns drive potential customers (target audiences) to the companies’ websites and business locations, with the goal of getting visitors to take action (schedule a demo, tour or appointment; book a reservation; make a purchase). Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and coordinates a busy project list for yourself and the team. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, set and meet deadlines, follow up, and ensure high-quality results.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and supervising the part-time and full-time members of the marketing team.
  • Markets effectively to the target audiences for each business unit, including both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Participates as an active, working member of the marketing team you’re leading. In addition to providing management and leadership, you’ll be expected to implement and/or contribute to the marketing efforts.
  • Ensures that marketing efforts are results-oriented.
  • Ensures that sales, profit, lead, and marketing goals are achieved.
  • Coordinates the marketing department’s daily/weekly meetings.
  • Maintains high return on advertising spends (ROAS).
  • Reports on marketing results and KPI; ensure that goals are met.
  • Delegates tasks, follow up, and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Maintains high attention to detail, as well as strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

  • Must be looking for an in-office position in Gainesville, Florida (remote work is not available).
  • 3-5 years of successful marketing experience where your efforts increased net revenues for your company.
  • 2+ years of management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, digital media, web or graphic design, business, or equivalent (or related experience).
  • A real passion for results-oriented marketing and a strong work ethic.
  • Successful experience in social media management including: how to build a following, strategies, and content ideas for building social media presence; how to convert that interest into leads/sales/profit.
  • Strong understanding of analytics.
  • Must display strong writing skills and must be able to write copy within the brand/persona voice.
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Be a company and department champion.
  • Must be very computer savvy.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Suite a strong plus but not required.
  • No travel required. Some after-hours or weekend work may be needed for periodic event marketing.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds, leads, and manages the marketing team as we increase leads and sales for Trimark’s brands and companies.
  • Directs, coordinates and implements all strategic B2B and B2C campaigns for Trimark’s brands, websites, and companies.
  • Oversees ad buys (currently not high volume), email campaigns, and other direct marketing.
  • Oversees all marketing collateral development, including signage, video, print, presentations, brochures, guidebooks, menus, and (mostly) web-based media.
  • Utilizes a scientific approach to Trimark's marketing needs (test what works and change the strategy accordingly).
  • Ensures that all pricing, availability, photos, virtual tours, videos, and descriptions are updated and posted on websites, social media, and 3rd party sites (via backends; no coding required).
  • Writes clear web copy for webpages, ads, social media, press releases, events, etc within the voice/persona of the brand/company.
  • Tests website for functionality, tracking, quality assurance; ensure that all content is relevant and performing efficiently.
  • Performs and leads any SEO efforts.
  • Coordinates social media marketing that drives leads and sales (not just awareness) with a high ROI. Ensure that social media calendars for paid and organic posts convert into leads/sales/profits.
  • Develops a high-quality portfolio of still images, videos, and ads for Trimark's portfolio, along with other team members (including a graphic designer on the team).
  • Other duties, as assigned.
