Position Title: Master Carpenter
Position Class: Full Time, Hourly
Reports To: Vice President
Pay Range: $30hr - $45/hr

Job Duties Include:
o Lead Framing- wall layout, truss system assembly, roof design layouts and sheeting.

o Deck framing and finishing
o Millwork install- window jambs/casing, set doors, staircases, install millwork
o Siding- assembly start to finish
o Roofing-understanding the roofing process
o Job site organizing and cleanup
o Quality inspections & Understanding of Building Codes
o Demolition and remodel work
o Lead and train field crew - Ability to oversee & direct sub-contractors and field personal

Job Info:

  • Must have 5 years experience
  • Most jobs located with in 10 miles of Sartell
  • Work ~ 7:30am until 4:30pm, flexible
  • Available overtime; 100-300 hours/year historically
  • Work truck provided
  • No scheduled weekends
  • You will have a probationary review at 90 days with wage evaluation
  • Year-end performance and wage evaluation
  • Year-end bonus eligible

  • Limited personal tools required; tool belt, tape measure and hammer

Employment Requirements:

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and job specifications
  • Ability to learn and govern building code requirements
  • Ability to lift heavy tools, equipment, materials as traditionally found on a construction site.
  • Understand and use safety equipment when needed
  • Ability to traverse site conditions and scale ladders or scaffolding
  • Organizational skills, good communication skills, punctual.
  • Ability to represent company in a professional manner at all times'
