Job Description:

As a Merchandiser, one must be able to handle various tasks, including inventory restocking, cash register operation, and cleaning tasks for maintaining store appeal. Excellent communication with colleagues is a requirement to deliver exceptional customer service and boost the ALDI team's workflow.

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • The usual workload consists of 32 to 40 hours worked per week

Tasks and Requirements:

The employee must fulfill their assigned tasks and requirements, with or without an adjustment.

  • Continuously improve upon the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) by learning new skill sets, receiving constructive feedback, and implementing new methods.
  • Sales clerks are accountable for processing customer payments, carrying out maintenance duties, and arranging merchandise shelves in a presentable and organized way
  • The provision of remarkable customer service involves being not only responsive but proactive in identifying and addressing customers' shopping needs
  • By working collaboratively with your team and communicating effectively with the store management team, you can succeed
  • By providing feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues, greater transparency and collaboration can be achieved
  • Abide by guidelines for taking inventory counts and verify the precision of inventory
  • Adherence to established cash policies and procedures is critical in minimizing financial loss

Physical Demands:

  • Capability to shift products from the receiving section of the store to the shelves, as well as adeptness in displaying products weighing up to 45 pounds at various elevations on the shelves
  • As part of the job requirement, one should execute an array of physical duties in the store such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking consistently

Education and Experience:
