Part Time Narrative Specialist – Locally Remote in the WNC Area – Up to $21/hr

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Part-Time Remote Narrative Specialist to transform raw information and community testimonies into compelling, blog-style narratives. This role demands a unique blend of journalistic accuracy and creative storytelling to produce informative and accessible content for a general audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage information provided by community partners.

  • Ensure the accurate compilation and entry of data into the CRM system.

  • Analyze and synthesize testimonies and data to identify key narrative elements.

  • Develop engaging and accessible blog-style narratives from raw information, maintaining journalistic integrity and creative storytelling.

  • Craft stories that resonate with a broad audience, translating complex information into relatable and understandable content.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to align storytelling with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in writing, journalism, content creation, or a related field, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing storytelling capabilities.

  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for diverse audiences.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in information compilation and verification.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems for data entry and information management.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

  • Residency within the Western North Carolina area is required.

  • A strong passion for community-focused narratives and a commitment to making an impact through storytelling.
