Description

Our global Operations network handles millions of packages and deliveries to Amazon customers every day.

We are seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals to join our team as Operations Managers.

Job Summary

This role involves leading and developing a team of salaried and hourly talent. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging their team during shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance.

To achieve this, managers will provide their team with the necessary tools for success while driving improvements in productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions and analytical problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will also play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered on time.

Operations Workflow

Our fulfillment network operates within three major components:

  • First Mile: Where products are stored and ready for order.
  • Middle Mile: Where orders are transported to specific areas.
  • Last Mile: Where products are delivered to customers' doors.

Please note that each workflow has slight variations, but one constant is our dedication to customer satisfaction.

  1. Support, mentor, and motivate: Salaried and hourly workforce.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Hold a valid and active USA state driver's license?

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience.
