DescriptionAmazon is looking for a highly motivated Fulfillment Center Operations Support Specialist to join our Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging (MSP) Field team. This individual will become part of Amazon’s efforts working to reduce packaging waste, minimize air shipped, and introduce automated packing solutions in the North American networks.Operations Support Specialists assist with project launches ranging from single package introductions to integration of new automation and pack solutions in the Fulfillment, Middle Mile, and Last Mile networks. Working independently, in small teams, and with large, cross functional teams, the successful candidate is a highly organized individual with excellent communication and customer service skills, experienced in fulfillment center operations, and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with minimal oversight.This position is also responsible for packaging testing in accordance with ISTA-6 Guidelines and Amazon standards. Operations Support Specialists train, guide, and audit associates assigned to the various testing programs in the fulfillment centers. Specialists coordinate with FC and corporate leadership to maximize testing quality and throughput. This role serves as a MSP point of contact for FC outbound pack associates and leadership; addressing process, performance, and quality issues related to packaging programs.
