Peloton has a unique opportunity for an experienced Oracle Data Validation Lead to play a hands-on role in a high growth practice area.
As an Oracle Data Validation Lead you will be focused on ensuring data accuracy and integrity within Oracle's cloud-based financial consolidation and close solutions (ARCS and FCCS). This individual will design, implement, and maintain data validation rules and processes, leveraging their expertise in both ARCS (Account Reconciliation Cloud Service) and FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service). Responsibilities include:
  • Solution Architecture: Providing architectural solutions for new initiatives and assisting in defining the scope and sizing of work related to data validation and reconciliation.
  • Data Validation Rule Design and Implementation: Creating and implementing robust data validation rules within FCCS and ARCS forms and processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Data Integration: Ensuring seamless data flow between FCCS and other systems, including EPM Automate and Data Management.
  • Reconciliation Compliance: Working with ARCS to manage account reconciliation processes, including balance sheet reconciliations, consolidation system reconciliations, and other reconciliation tasks.
  • Testing and Validation: Developing and executing test plans to validate the effectiveness of data validation rules and reconciliation processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving data validation and reconciliation issues, collaborating with other teams as needed.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data validation rules, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with finance and accounting teams, as well as other technical teams, to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Required Experience & Skills:
  • Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS and ARCS).
  • Must have strong understanding of Oracle’s EPM suite, including FCCS and ARCS, with experience in both functional and technical aspects including a solid understanding of financial consolidation principles and best practices.
  • Prior experience and proven expertise in designing and implementing data validation rules and reconciliation process.
  • Must have at least a few years of experience with EPM Automate and Data Management for data integration and automation, as well as proficiency in areas like SmartView with experience writing functional/technical documentation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to address data validation and reconciliation challenges.
  • Proven consulting skills with excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work remotely and independently in support of clients and team members.

  • Must be willing to travel.
