Job Description:

Jumpstart your career! Grace Home in Graceville, Minnesota is offering the exciting opportunity to be a part of our paid nursing assistant training program. We will pay for your course, train you, help you get certified, and provide you with your first job as a CNA. Apply now for an opportunity to join our September cohort.

How does the program work?

Just like any employer, we will interview candidates for this program. Once an offer is extended, your trainer will provide you with access to the online educational portion of the certification program, which should be completed prior to employment. On your start date, you will earn a wage of $15 hourly. You will complete several days of orientation, followed by three days of clinical practice and testing. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be scheduled to test for certification through the state of Minnesota. Upon successful completion of the test, you will be promoted to CNA, given a schedule that works for you, and earn at least $18.52 hourly (more with related experience).

What You'll Do:
This position is part of a self-directed, cross trained team. Each team member is trained in direct resident care, housekeeping, laundry, dietary, and activity functions following facility policies, procedures, and programs. A holistic approach will be taken to coordinate resident/patient centered care in a home like environment.
