Your Role: Set up and operate semi-auto paint line equipment


What You'll Be Doing:

· Mask product to prints, load and unload parts from conveyor.

· Operate 5-stage washer, paint curing oven, and paint application equipment

· Prepare proper paint coatings.

· Manually paint parts, insuring even coating and thickness

· Using Oracle, able to locate parts for paint queue

· Make accept or reject decisions on components and final assemblies.

· Ability to use paint thickness gauges and document findings.

· Packages painted product per customer specifications

· Performs daily chemical analysis, makes changes to concentrations of chemicals in wash stations and records daily findings onto SPC charts.

· Other duties as assigned.


What You Need to Succeed:

· High School diploma (or equivalent)

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Good math skills.

· Ability to run chemical & concentration analysis.

· Ability to read and understand blueprints, BOM's, ship schedules, parts numbers, and defect charts.

· Ability to translate quality standards into paint process standards

· Good depth perception and color discrimination.


What Will Set You Apart:

· 3+ yrs. previous paint application experience (preferably on an auto/manual paint line system)


Compensation: $16.50/hr

Physical & Mental Demands:

What to Expect: Ability to lift 1-30 pounds consistently at and over shoulder height, occasional lifting of units over 50 pounds, and occasional moving of 50-70 pounds at table height.

Your Daily Routine: Standing work, Monday - Thursday work week 10-hour days, opportunity for overtime on Fridays.
