<strong>City, State:<br><br></strong>Boulder, Colorado<br><br><strong>Title:</strong> Banquet Server and Barista Hybrid<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Boulder, CO<br><br><strong>FLSA: </strong>Non-Exempt<br><br><strong>Status:</strong> Part-time<br><br><strong>Reports to:</strong> F&B Manager<br><br><strong>Pay Range: </strong>Pay: $18.50/hour as banquet server, $17/hour plus tips as barista<br><br><strong>Job Summary: </strong>The Banquet Server provides food and beverage service in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner during banquet events. This role is focused on delivering high-quality service to ensure a positive experience for all guests attending dining and banquet functions.<br><br><strong>Essential Functions and Duties:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service. </li><li>Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt drink orders. </li><li>Present the menu, answer guest questions, and make food and beverage suggestions. </li><li>Suggest wine selections where appropriate. </li><li>Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly. </li><li>Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and anticipate when they have completed their meals. </li><li>Clear and reset tables efficiently. </li><li>Complete all assigned side work tasks during shifts. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area. </li><li>Assist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms. </li><li>Attend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager. </li><li>Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS. <br><br></li></ul><em>R</em><em>easonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.<br><br></em><strong>Required Experience, Education, and Skills:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred. </li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Primarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes. </li><li>Requires standing and walking for extended periods during events. </li><li>Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs. </li><li>Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Other Duties: <br><br></strong>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the team member for this job.
