Full Job Description

Role Title: Personnel Security Specialist (Background Investigation Processing Support: e-APP Processor)

Location: REMOTE

Day-to-day Responsibilities of Personnel Security position:

  • Assist the federal client with all aspects of front-end background investigation processing for their population.
  • Enter data into federal processing systems including but not limited to; The Case Management System, Security Manger, IDMS, SCMS, and the Enterprise User Administration (EUA) Front-End Interface (EFI).
  • Enter data into the e-APP system for processing from initiation to completion for the facility population, including conducting a quality review of the information submitted and communicating with the customer, in-person, by email, and/or phone, to ensure proper completion of the e-APP
  • Access the DCSA CVS/PIPS database to review customer’s prior investigation information, screen-shot the case and adjudication status in order to update and upload into the customer’s Security Manager profile and provide to Federal Personnel Security Specialists for further review.
  • Ensure Foreign National customers present documents that provide Federal work authorization to upload into Security Manager and to provide the work authorization expiration date for credential processing.
