Description:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Falcon LogScale deployments from project kickoff to technical implementation and through project closure
  • Guide and assist customers in building out complex, resilient and high performing application clusters in public and private cloud/on-prem environments
  • Assist customer with data onboarding tasks like 3rd party tool audit/logging policy configurations, and log transport methodology
  • Provide guidance with log analysis leveraging search queries based on raw log data, parsing and dashboard creation
  • Provide knowledge transfer of Falcon LogScale to our customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and five years of experience in systems engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience implementing and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (any flavor) Docker, and Helm within GCP, Azure and/or AWS
  • Experience delivering, managing and upgrading managed applications in GCP, Azure and/or AWS environments with high throughput and availability requirements, including usage of CI/CD tools
  • Experience and comfort with management and implementation of Linux server platforms
  • Experience with developing and implementing IaC tools and code using tools such as Terraform, Pulimi or Crossplane
  • Highly comfortable in creating, implementing and troubleshooting Python, go and Bash scripts within integration and automation use cases
  • Experience with REST API, GraphQL and API microservices
  • Intermediate knowledge of security protocols and products for identity management and access such as OAuth, Okta, SAML, Windows Auth and Active Directory
  • Experience using logs and metrics to identify the root cause of production incidents
  • Experience managing technical deployments, tracking time, and running projects from kickoff to closure
  • Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban and other development lifecycles
  • Knowledge of IT environments, including: directory services, authentication, networking, data storage
  • Understanding of log management use cases around security, observability, DevOps, IT ops, and/or business operations
  • Strong problem-solving, written and oral communication skills in English
  • Bonus Points: Five years of professional DevOps experience providing support for troubleshooting, recovery and root cause analysis
  • Experience developing visualizations for security event-related data using Grafana, PowerBI, Elastic, etc.
  • Experience with implementing and using Kafka
  • Experience working with pre-sales teams on technical scoping and requirements gathering, and with post-sales handoffs
  • Experience translating your knowledge of customer requirements and experiences into feedback for product and engineering teams
