The AT&T JCSC Operations Center has an opening for a Principal Network Cybersecurity to support a 24 x 7 Operations Center which provides management and oversight of various networks in a multi-tenant secure environment. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and security of enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks. Maintains security posture and infrastructure capabilities which will support cyber security initiatives through both predictive and reactive analysis, and network traffic analysis.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Implement, administer, and maintain security infrastructure technology solutions which include security, information and event management, anti-malware, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, virtualization technologies, storage, Windows/Linux operating systems, Operation Intelligence systems, and security monitoring/PCAP collection/recording tools.
  • Develop custom applications to accommodate a range of security requirements for data forwarding/collection.
  • Incorporate Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) integration with SIEM to highlight malicious indicator correlation Integration/build out of lab environment to support testing of software deployment/patches; provides compliance with FISMA/RMF/CMMC security controls
  • Actively participate in security evaluations to support accreditation/continuous monitoring initiatives implement SIEM infrastructure and provide advice for tuning to achieve optimal performance
  • Performs infrastructure monitoring, performance assessment, new requirement analysis and support

Required Clearance:

Minimum DoD Secret (#secret)

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the implementation, administration and maintenance of a 24x7x365 Security Operations infrastructure. Experienced with Linux/Windows automation (Ansible, SCCM)
  • Must have a current Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification
  • Must have a current Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect (SECA) certification. Must possess a current CompTIA Security + Certification
  • Must meet a minimum of Information Assurance Technician Level 2 (IAT-II), DoD 8570 requirement
  • Participate in planning/execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new initiatives Interpret/capture functional requirements, Integrate technical design, prototypes, proof of concepts, and documentation as required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in cyber security Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
  • Working knowledge/Experience with Hitachi Storage
  • Working knowledge/Experience working with HPE XP storage

Our Principal Network Cybersecurity's earn between $158,200 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
