Who We Are:
At Buchanan Metal Forming, we believe teamwork, honesty, and organization are the keys to getting things done right. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Production Team. If you enjoy staying organized, working with great people, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do:

  • Entering data into programs that directly correlate with production needs, daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Double-check records and follow up to keep things correct and on time.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external team members.
  • Support the team with day-to-day tasks and reports, including shipping reports, receiving and inventory controls,
  • Keep electronic and paper files neat and organized as it relates to production, quality, and purchasing.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of work orders, production schedules, and other needed reports.
  • Collaborate with production supervisor and leaders from other departments to collect and clarify data.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone organized, who takes pride in accuracy and strong follow-through abilities.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • A team player who’s honest, reliable, and supportive of others.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Previous data entry or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Someone able to verify data for accuracy before entering into databases.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed throughout the shift.
  • Previous manufacturing environment experience a plus!
