We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Benchmarking team supporting the North American operations under Global Engineering Services as a Program Manager.

The Program Manager will play a critical role for defining and tracking processes within the construction execution teams and benchmark the processes within the different business units globally. They will be responsible for defining process changes and see through the tactical execution of those established processes with the best of lean management and six sigma methodologies to achieve excellence.

Key job responsibilities

Demonstrate high bias for action with strong ownership. Must be detail oriented but can move quickly to produce deliverables. Can deal with lack of established controls and navigate ambiguity. Effectively communicate to stakeholders and team members for KPIs and status of projects. Must have a thorough understanding of construction cost processes and areas in which savings can be realized. Demonstrate ability to analyze construction costs on site and at program level. Demonstrate the ability to pull and process large sets of data that need scrubbing to ensure the data is clean, as well as the ability to produce important metrics and guide stakeholders with data.

Support Execution team meet Cost data governance and standards. Provides subject matter expertise and implements cost controls and compliance measures to ensure data fidelity and standardization.

About The Team

The Construction Cost Management team works with construction managers and cross functional teams to ensure program-wide cost and data reporting compliance. The team establishes KPIs and deep dives cost trends for leadership, while identifying cost opportunities. When needed, we create tools and mechanisms to track and report on costs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • 4+ years of construction cost management experience
  • 4+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 2+ years of data visualization and reports tools experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • PMP
