As a QA Engineer, you will focus on testing critical features like asynchronous multiplayer gameplay, leaderboard accuracy, and room-based interactions. Accountabilities:

  • Create, execute, and manage detailed test cases for various game features, including AI-driven components, multiplayer modes, and environment interactions
  • Test asynchronous multiplayer functionalities, ensuring smooth gameplay, leaderboard accuracy, and seamless room availability
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or Trello
  • Perform performance testing on Xbox hardware, delivering feedback on game stability, performance, and user experience
  • Ensure that online and offline gameplay transitions are smooth and flawless for users
  • Collaborate closely with game developers and other QA team members to ensure the highest quality product delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Xbox QA testing, with deep familiarity with console-specific features and hardware
  • Strong understanding of multiplayer mechanics and proficiency in bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello)
