We encourage you to visit our website at www.loenbro.com to learn more about our organization and who we are.<br><br><strong>Position Overview: </strong>We are looking for an experienced initiative-taking QC Inspector to join our growing Industrial Construction team. This role is responsible for supporting welding and inspection operations by maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and coordinating with NDE personnel. Key duties include weld map creation, inspection and pressure test support, NDE/NDT reporting, quality assurance planning, and training other inspectors. The position also involves reviewing welding procedures, conducting inspections, and assembling project documentation—all while upholding Loenbro’s core values and safety standards. A team-oriented mentality and the drive to continuously improve is what sets the Loenbro team at the top of the industry. This position works closely with related engineering, construction, fabrication, and other departments to ensure that the team’s aligned goals are met.<br><br><strong>Job Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li>Weld Map Isometric drawings.</li><li>Enter welding and inspection information into tracking tools.</li><li>Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.</li><li>Review and File NDE/NDT Reports.</li><li>Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work.</li><li>Assemble and review project documentation packages.</li><li>Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.</li><li>Perform weld inspections.</li><li>Review welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply.</li><li>Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans.</li><li>Provide support and training to other inspectors.</li><li>Write inspection and assess plans (I&TP’s).</li><li>Committed to Loenbro’s core values and safety policies.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Skills/Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Have a current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II or ability to pass the VT II exam.</li><li>Knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A documented training/hands on hours.</li><li>Well-rounded with ASTM standards and materials.</li><li>Concrete experience encouraged.</li><li>Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers Quality Control Inspector.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Elevated level of organizational skills.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings.</li><li>Must be a quick learner and motivated.</li><li>Ability to travel and relocate as needed.</li><li>Initiative-taking with the drive to learn and grow.</li><li>Must be able to work as a team.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day.</li><li>Use of respirator if position requires.</li><li>Outside in a fabrication shop environment most of the time.</li><li>Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures.</li><li>Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment</li><li>Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.</li><li>Limited working surfaces.</li><li>Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors.</li><li>Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).</li><li>Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time for required tasks.</li><li>Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:</li><ul><li>Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.</li></ul><li>If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required.
