Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. This role requires proficiency in various quality control methodologies and the ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform detailed measurements.
  • Implement and maintain quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP standards.
  • Perform quality audits and document findings to ensure adherence to FDA regulations and HACCP guidelines.
  • Analyze data collected during inspections to identify trends, defects, or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits for compliance purposes.
  • Utilize vision inspection systems for automated quality checks when applicable.
  • Provide training and guidance on quality assurance practices to team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with Calypso software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to quality metrics.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience with quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on findings.
  • Knowledge of QA/QC processes and methodologies is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
