Position Summary: The Regional Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for managing a team of Retail Marketing Managers within their designated region. This role is accountable for their direct reports’ performance, ability to exceed revenue targets, maintain budgets, and the successful execution and operations of the Retail Marketing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activity of direct reports.
  • Ensure systematic management across region and field locations and that each is compliant with SOPs, benchmarking, and department KPIs.
  • Direct, coach, and mentor direct reports.
  • Ensure staffing levels are at or above benchmark.
  • Responsible for revenue and expenditure forecasting.
  • Responsible for the management of budgets and exceeding revenue and issued forecasts - monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Recruit District Retail Marketing Managers/Retail Marketing Managers and additional support staff.
  • Partner with Human Resources to increase retention and identify candidates for upward mobility within the organization.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews to uncover deficiencies and outline a realistic strategic plan for increased performance.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly in-person and/or web-based team training classes.
  • Responsible for meeting predetermined performance goals for each retail store as well as other KPIs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 3+ years in a management role with relevant experience including direct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, directing, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Proficient in HR functions such as performance reviews and progressive disciplinary procedures.
  • Ability to lead and conduct in-person and web-based training.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball.”
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “win every day” mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels keeping peer and customer needs first.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from job site to perform job duties.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:

  • Experience in multi-unit management.
  • Experience in retail or experiential marketing, and direct-to-consumer marketing with face-to-face engagement.
  • Experience in the home remodeling/improvement industry.
  • Experience in customer service and/or sales.
  • Experience in executing career pathing.

Travel Requirements:

  • More than 50% domestic travel required.

Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:

  • Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal Office Environment and field office/manufacturing/construction environment.
  • Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and performs work outside in varying temperatures and climates.
  • Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
