What You'll Do:

As a Remote Billing Representative specializing in Accounts Receivable, you will manage a portfolio of accounts and ensure efficient revenue collection. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Receivable Management:Β Monitor, track, and manage outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Customer/Client Outreach:Β Communicate professionally and persuasively with customers or clients via phone, email, and written correspondence regarding overdue accounts, payment arrangements, and billing inquiries.
  • Payment Processing:Β Process incoming payments, apply them accurately to customer accounts, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Dispute Resolution:Β Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes in a timely and effective manner, collaborating with internal departments as needed.
  • Invoice Generation & Distribution:Β Assist with generating, reviewing, and distributing invoices and statements to customers.
  • Account Reconciliation:Β Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of balances and identify unapplied payments or credits.
  • Reporting:Β Prepare and maintain reports on accounts receivable status, collection efforts, and aging analysis.
  • System Utilization:Β Accurately update and maintain customer account information and collection notes within our ERP/billing software and CRM systems.
  • Compliance:Β Ensure all billing and collection activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience:Β Minimum of [e.g., 2-3] years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a related financial role. Experience in [specific industry, e.g., healthcare, SaaS, logistics] is a plus.
