Key Responsibilities
- Streamline Procurement Processes: Efficiently evaluate and process requisitions, ensuring precision and on-time delivery.
- Manage Contracts: Conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts and ensure adherence to all contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Accounts Payable teams to facilitate seamless operations.
- Vendor Management: Establish new vendors in the system, foster strong supplier relationships, and negotiate advantageous terms.
- Leverage Technology: Utilize cutting-edge tools such as Coupa and Concur for Accounts Payable processing and Excel for data analysis.
- Stay Informed: Analyze market trends to make data-driven purchasing decisions based on current market conditions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a Buyer role with a solid grasp of procurement principles and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A robust work ethic and a commitment to achieving outstanding results.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in procurement or purchasing roles is essential.
- Familiarity with contract management and vendor relations is preferred.
