Part Time Remote Licensed Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician

HealthCare Support is actively seeking Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician to fill part time openings with a large managed care and pharmacy benefits management company..

Daily Responsibilities for Part Time Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician:

  • This is a Call Center environment.
  • The pharm techs will receive prior-authorization requests via fax or incoming call.
  • This position exists to take incoming requests for prior authorizations, for formulary and non-formulary medications, while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.
  • 10am-3pm EST & 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday = 25 hours per week
Required Qualifications for Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician:
  • Must Have Active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of residence (EXCEPT CA, PA, OKC, WA, OR, NY.)
  • Must have high speed internet connection at home
  • Must be comfortable in working in a call center and metric-based environment

Preferred Qualifications for Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician:
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal to no time off during the contract period

Pay: $18.95 - $20.705 an hour
