Job description: REMOTE: Talend Admin // Pay Rate: $59.06/hr

Applicant must have 3 years of relevant experience with the following:

  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing Talend Data Integration environments including job design, routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in TAC and TDC
  • Proficiency in administering Linux servers, managing user accounts, system updates, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues.
  • Experience managing and maintaining Windows servers, applying updates/patches, handling Active Directory, resolving issues.
  • Ability to manage and track SSL certificates, ensure they are up to date and handle any related issues or errors.
  • Experience in creating and managing data pipelines in Azure Data Factory specifically targeting Azure Synapse
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell and ability to automate routine tasks and troubleshoot.
  • Experience with managing and configuring cloud services like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Familiar with network architecture and principles, including routers, switches and firewall confiurations.
  • Understanding of other database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and principles of database management
  • Experience with system monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT security principles, practices and systems
  • Experience in planning and executing disaster recovery protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill to interact with various stakeholders and translate technical terms into easy to understand concepts
