Our Story
Chicken Meets Rice was founded by Shone Tran and Jon Sujarit, who were inspired by their love of food and travel. Their journey led them to a small restaurant in Brooklyn where they rediscovered the unforgettable flavors of Hainanese Chicken Rice. Now, through Chicken Meets Rice, they’ve brought those flavors and cultural variations to the Bay Area, sharing this delicious tradition with everyone.
